BLAKEY PLANNING LIMITED IS A SPECIALIST PLANNING CONSULTANCY BASED IN AUCKLAND WHICH PROVIDES PLANNING AND RESOURCE MANAGEMENT SERVICES TO PRIVATE SECTOR AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT CLIENTS.

Richard Blakey has wide ranging skills in private and public sector planning, with considerable experience in all aspects of the resource consent process.

Richard has been involved in planning practice since 1991, and has extensive experience in the preparation and management of a range of resource consent application types.

As a consultant to the Auckland Council, Richard has an in-depth understanding of relevant district and regional planning instruments and processes throughout the Region.

In December 2008 Richard achieved certification (with merit) under the Ministry for the Environment's Good Decisions programme, along with Chair certification in December 2016 and was re-appointed as a member of the Auckland Council's Hearing Commissioner Panel in 2017.
